Philosophy
Designing is a decision based process. In order to objectify the bases for these decisions one needs to understand the structure of the human mind. Intensive research, spanning over 2 decades, has led to a deeper understanding of the human psyche and its relationship towards matter, place and space.
The concept of ‘Beginnings’, rooted in the collective unconscious, underlies the holistic approach of each individual project. As a metaphor for this approach, the words of the late British director/artist Derek Jarman come into mind:’ In the pandemonium of image, I present you with the universal Blue. Blue an open door to soul, an infinite possibility becoming tangible.’
