House T is situated in the context of a Flemish agricultural landscape and comprises of three building volumes connected to each other. Each one is unique in context and characteristics.
A farmhouse from 1798 listed as heritage, is renovated and connects to the main volume through a glass passage. As a result of building restrictions the main volume is built from the original barn keeping its original shape and proportions.
The differences between the building volumes are not so much a statement of preference or taste, but rather the outcome of the logical considerations of three very different conditions.
