Hohensinn Architektur, founded by Josef Hohensinn in 1998, has realised an extensive portfolio of built work. Over almost three decades of continuous development, our projects have set numerous benchmarks. Our work has received multiple awards and commendations, particularly in contemporary timber construction, education buildings, sports and leisure facilities, and in the conception and planning of buildings with highly complex functional requirements, as well as in hospitality and tourism and in interior design.

Generational transition
After more than 25 years of active leadership, founder Josef Hohensinn handed over operational management to the next generation in 2024. Hohensinn Architektur is now led by long-standing partners Karlheinz Boiger and Annette Strasser. Josef Hohensinn continues to support the practice as a consultant.
