Transformation of historic paper factory into vibrant cultural center

The transformation of this historic paper factory in Damme into a vibrant cultural center showcases a harmonious blend of industrial aesthetics and inviting elements.

The design honors the building’s rich heritage while integrating warm materials that create a welcoming atmosphere. The interior is carefully composed with custom cabinetry that functions as barcodes in various colors, warm carpets, and an interplay of red brick that contrasts with concrete and steel. A central patio brings light and air into the space, contributing to a pleasant and inspiring experience.

As a meeting place for cultural events and social gatherings, the center has become a beloved destination for the community of Damme and far beyond. It reflects timeless appeal and inviting charm.
