Traditional Korean patchwork panels called pojagi serve here as sliding doors in a modern take on the classic Japanese design concept of “tsuzukima,“ a large tatami-mat-lined space that can be divided as needed with screens. The moveable pojagi screens carve out a diversity of interior scenes depending on their layout, adding flexibility to the space. Together with 150mm-square wood colonnade walls, they create a warm, relaxed atmosphere within the simple layout.
