Angled, Smart & Inviting
The floor plan of this design follows the angled line of the left property boundary. By carefully respecting this boundary, the living area opens naturally toward the backyard. A relatively closed façade and an outbuilding with a multifunctional space provide the necessary sense of shelter from the neighboring property on this side.
The front façade also remains closed at the ground floor to ensure privacy and a feeling of security. A patio adjacent to the street-side office allows abundant daylight into the workspace, while the patio wall subtly guides visitors toward the entrance hall. At the main building, the wall opens up, creating a clear sightline through the office.
The entrance zone feels spacious thanks to a double-height void, which aligns with a generous glazed section on the upper floor of the front façade. This design allows the morning sun to reach both the living area and the night hall with its adjoining bedrooms.

Schuin, slim en sfeervol
Het grondplan van dit ontwerp respecteert de schuine lijn van de linker perceelsgrens. Het nauwgezet volgen van die grens trekt de leefruimte open naar de achtertuin. De vrij gesloten gevel en een bijgebouw met een polyvalente ruimte verzekeren de nodige geborgenheid ten opzichte van de buur aan deze zijde van het perceel.
Ook de voorgevel manifesteert zich gesloten op het gelijkvloerse niveau om geborgenheid en privacy te bieden. Een patio naast de bureauruimte aan de straatzijde zorgt toch voor een rijke daglichtinval in deze werkruimte. De patiomuur begeleidt bezoekers naar de inkomhal. Ter hoogte van het hoofdgebouw is de muur opengewerkt en beidt zo een zichtlijn door het bureau.
De inkomzone is ruimtelijk dankzij een vide die op de verdieping in de voorgevel een royale glaspartij heeft. Zo vindt de ochtendzon zowel een weg naar de zitruimte als naar de nachthal en de aanliggende slaapkamers.
