David Ireland’s House

This 1886 residence was home to artist David Ireland and site of his most significant art installation. In addition to preserving the building’s historic exterior and the fragile artist-transformed interior spaces, the project includes a terrace and basement level with artist’s archive, as well as structural and accessibility improvements throughout.
