O’Vives Building

The project is part of the "Eaux Vives" neighborhood, which has become a booming area thanks to the catalytic effect of the new station of the Franco-Swiss cross-border regional train CEVA. The O’Vives building is located opposite to the new “Comédie” Theater and is connected to the underground train station, which hosts part of the district's shopping arcade. The building is intended for a mixed used and accommodates dwellings, offices and shops. Two shrinkages in its width, at the ground and fifth floors, interrupt its parallelepipedal volume and express the changes in use that occur through its height. This variation is also reflected in elevation by the changing rhythm of the façade openings.
